4. Electroosmosis: Under an electric field, the liquid phase moves while the solid phase remains stationary, gradually expelling water from the paint film until it becomes dense, highly resistant, and almost impervious to current.
5. For instance, iron red epoxy electrophoretic paint is composed of modified epoxy resin, butanol, ethanol amine, talc, and iron red. When mixed with distilled water and subjected to a DC electric field, it separates into charged ions, undergoing complex physicochemical and electrochemical transformations.
